About the position

Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Lead at our client's site, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Your leadership skills will be vital in guiding a team through tasks such as loading and unloading materials, all while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Your attention to detail will be key in spotting and addressing any discrepancies, ensuring inventory accuracy. With the support and resources provided by PRG Technical, you will be equipped to excel in this role and uphold the high standards expected by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the loading and unloading of materials using hand trucks, reach trucks, and forklifts.

• Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, scanning, and kitting of products.

• Identify and report any discrepancies in received loads against the manifest.

• Uphold a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Address overages, shortages, and damages, updating them in the operating system.

• Delegate and oversee tasks to Warehouse Agents, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

• Train and support Warehouse Agents in their daily tasks.

• Adhere to all TSA, OSHA, and company safety guidelines.

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to optimize operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Experience with RF scan guns.

• Prior forklift certification is an advantage.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work well in a team and lead by example.

• Familiarity with basic MS Office and data entry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
